[*Bonfires for Peace is the Traveling Bonfires’ centerpiece community project. A first “Bonfires for Peace” in California/West Coast was held at Huntington Beach in Oct 2008, in collaboration with community-based peace movements and organizations.]

JUST HANGIN’ OUT:
[1] Every Tuesday, except the last week’s, 8pm-10pm. Viento y Agua Café & Gallery, 4007 E 4th Street, Long Beach, CA. We hang out and read at Creative Sessions Open Mic hosted by TBonfires friend, Alyssandra Nighswonger.

AS ALWAYS the case with these “rock journeys and sublime madnesses,” MOST SHOWS ARE FREE. But it’d be really cool if you could spare a few dollars donation and then obtain copies of the performers’ chapbooks, CDs, and TBonfires/Wander merchandise. These gifts are better than caffeine and nicotine combined… For more details—and for those like-minded, spirit-paralleled poets and musicians who might want to join us perform—get in touch: Marta Osborne (562 726 0873, bonfires_marta@yahoo.com), Cathy Gruman (562 434 3951, igru2002@yahoo.com), or email pasckie.pascua@gmail.com.
