“She Walks in Darkness” (2025, Netflix) Spanish political thriller. The plot follows Amaia, a Guardia Civil agent going undercover for years within the ETA ranks seeking to crack the location of the group's multiple weapons caches scattered in southern France.        Formed in 1959, ETA or Euskadi Ta Askatasuna is the armed Basque separatist organization in Spain and France.        Apparently the ETA's life is a significant subject matter in Spain's history but this political thriller, starting with Susana Abaitua's performance as Amaia, is lazily one-dimensional. “Tetris” (2023, Apple TV+) black comedy thriller , based on true events around the race to license and patent the video game Tetris from Soviet Russia .        Tetris is a puzzle video game created in 1985 by Alexey Pajitnov , a Soviet software engineer . In typical Tetris gameplay, falling tetromino shapes must be neatly sorted into a pile. Once a horizontal line of the game board is filled in, it disappears, granting points and preventing the pile from overflowing. I guess you know that already.
